Rsfx-amb This album eloquently displays the magic of ambient music at its finest. The subtleties and plethora of detail is simply stunning. My favorite by this artist out of a catalogue of many fantastic releases. Favorite track: Sylvan Glen.

Berkdrums ‘Sylvan Glen’.. besides the beauty of the albumtitle, there is the consistant huge quality of Robert’s works.. his pastoral ambient, that finds its source in the beauty of nature.. It seems to me as if on this stunningly beautiful album this source even comes closer than usual... Stillness of nature I would say. I feel this album is the perfect soundtrack for self-reflection and our respect towards our fragile planet.. This fragility is almost touchable on ‘Sylvan Glen’.. And yet you can also feel the power, wisdom and resiliency of nature. For me, as with almost every Robert Davies-album, it’s not possible to pick a favorite track. But if you have albums of this amazing artist in your collection, ‘Sylvan Glen’ has to be among them!! For people unknown to his work, I would suggest to pick this one as part of the first few albums to purchase... you’ll be hooked and there’s no way back... incredible...
