Another diamond in the dust discovery on a recent trawl.Data Obscura is a new find label also and one I'll want to explore more.
Nightfall is a high quality ambient album (this term is becoming a little too unfocussed for me now but it will serve until I can find a better one).Imaginative internal landscape seems a little too verbose but it is accurate for this music.I like introspection as a modus operandi...What I look for is integrity of structure and sound palette with textural assuredness and spontaneity and that spark of originality (not much to ask!!)...anyway this album by Mr.Kerby has all these attributes and then some...an absorbing exploration of the harmony of the spheres.

Nightfall drifts towards a darker and more experimental territory than the previous Full Circle release from The Circular Ruins. The mood more mysterious and exploratory -- a journey into night, and into wormholes that sparkle with curious energies, and have unpredictable destinations. Expect a fascinating and totally absorbing ambient electronica trip.

Oh mán, what an awesome release!! Well, it has to be for me, if I purchase an album that is only available as a download-version instead of CD/vinyl.. I always want to support the artist, but I just can’t help being hooked/addicted/product of my childhood, whatever you want to call it, to a physical album.. But albums like these..!, this is art, made with passion, majestic, and has all ingredients that I love about ambient/drone-music.. absolute MUST-HAVE!
