Richard Gürtler As always APK's very organic flavored ambient creations show a very spontaneous textures full of surprises and happenings, they never slip into a fade. APK delivers here a very complex, but colorful, rich and evolving sonic structures and atmospheres, very imaginative and immersing explorations. Put your headphones on, take the journey with careful attention and your rewarding awaits you. Nice foggy front cover picture precisely displays the overall mood and concept.

about

A lush and addictive collection of ambient journeys and landscapes inspired by the incomparable novel Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. These works exhibit the rich organic complexity, occasional curious rhythms, and deft developments we have come to expect from The Circular Ruins. This is music for sonic immersion ... and for the imagination.

Composed and performed by Anthony Paul Kerby (Canada) using a variety of synthesisers and effects, with occasional field recordings. Piano on What's Left Behind by Angela Weiser.

"A spacious and ethereal masterpiece. As surreal and as perfect as a dream." Joe Rygwelski (Hypnos Forum)
